The wacky guessing gameshow The Masked Singer is back with a brand new line-up of colourful characters, and joining the likes of Jacket Potato and Rubbish on the stage was the adorable singing Fawn. The Fawn won hearts with their rendition of Beauty and the Beast on Saturday, January 7.
"Me and Rita are covered in goosebumps," said celeb panellist Davina McCall about herself and co-star Rita Ora. And fellow detective Rita responded by singing "wow, wow, wow." Rita thought they sounded "angellic" and "trained."
As fans played armchair detective at home some guessed that it was former Countdown star Carol Vorderman. @SophieSharpie said: "Deer is 100% Carol Vorderman." And @LATrash asked: "Fawn - Carol Voderman?"

But many are certain it's a member of the girlband Sugababes after a clue given about 'sugar.' @ArronJustMight asked on Twitter: "A Sugababe? #TheMaskedSinger." And @Kaoivin said: "She’s one of the Sugababes."
Sugababes, formed in 1998, has changed its formation three times before returning to the original and current line-up of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy in 2012. Former band members are Amelle Berrabah, Heidi Range and Jade Ewen..
@blissfulfiction asked: "Fawn could well be Heidi from Sugababes?" @Mark_Bish said: "A sugarbabe, as there has been 5 members, and Fawn asked for 5 Sugars!! Heidi Range!" And @Danny20586357 tweeted: "#TheMaskedSinger fawn is Jade Ewen from the sugababes."
But @AuditionPianist wondered: "The 'Five sugars'.... could that be a hint to working with Sir Alan Sugar?" And a stumped @misterjaydee said: "Fawn = no idea. Cracking voice though!"
