ITV quiz show The Chase can include some very tense moments. While some weeks the infamous Chasers thrash those taking part, others are a bit more tense.
This was the case for Rachel, Aaron, and David when they missed out on winning £14,000 by just two seconds. Rachel is a Methodist minister, originally from America, and now living and working in Chepstow.
Rachel was hoping to spend any money she won on renovating her house with her husband. However, in a tense final the Chaser beat Rachel, Aaron, and David with only seconds to spare.

After earning the team £4,000 to add to the total, Rachel teamed up with Aaron and David to face the Chaser, who was Darragh Ennis known as The Menace. While Darragh slipped up a couple of times on some questions, allowing the trio to push him back, he kept a cool head and ultimately beat them meaning they left empty-handed.
Although he did not do well on his personal questions Aaron performed very well for the team, earning them most of their points. He was praised by both the host of the show Bradley Walsh and Darragh.
Viewers on Twitter also praised Aaron and pointed out how tense the end game was. One said: "Edge of the seat final in The Chase. Aaron should definitely take up quizzing, because maybe one day he could be a chaser himself. Great stuff!"
Another said: "That was close! 2 seconds-almost down to the wire...bravo! The team did exceptionally well, especially Aaron #TheChase #Bravo #GoodJob." A third added: "Aaron-you carried your team in the final. Man of the Match. #thechase"
And: "Blimey-that was close, I bet Aaron and the team thought the money was in the bag!... #TheChase."
