ITV The Chase's Anne Hegerty pays tribute to close relationship with co-star

The Chase star Anne Hegerty said host Bradley Walsh is her favourite thing about work.

Since 2010, Anne has been 'The Governess' on the ITV game show and was a contestant on the 2018 series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! She has worked with Bradley for 12 years.

Branding him a "legendary presenter", Anne paid a tribute to her co-star in a recent interview. Speaking to Express.co.uk, Anne said: "Oh I have too many favourite things. Possibly working with Brad.

"He is just this legendary presenter, and he is just such a nice guy, all the Chasers have such a nice rapport with him."

She added: "But also the fact that it is a job that I can do. It is sort of tailor-made for me and I can earn a decent living just by doing a few hours of work every day, which is brilliant.

"So yeah it suits me down to a tea. I always say, any time that I am filming for The Chase, the actual filming for it is the easy part of my day and everything else is more difficult so yeah, I absolutely love it."

Anne recently admitted that she would love to follow in the footsteps of Bradley, and show off her acting skills. She has previoulsy performed in pantomimes such as Jack and the Beanstalk and Sleeping Beauty.
