The Chase was back for one last instalment in 2022 on New Year's Eve, but many viewers were disappointed just moments after the show began.
Bradley Walsh and the Chasers could be seen in the iconic ITV studio as a round-up of bloopers got underway. The presenter had some fans in stitches as he looked back at some hilarious moments that never made it to air.
But before all that, comedian Joe Pasquale took Bradley's place as host.

He said: "Hello, and welcome to The Chase. I'm Bradley Walsh, TV's luckiest man. And once again, I'll be asking questions I can barely read, let alone understand."
At this moment, many viewers watching at home realised the show was a repeat from 2021, and quickly shared their disappointment on Twitter. Katherine said: "Why on EARTH is this a repeat and not a NEW blooper show this year? This is so disappointing. Where's the new material?"
Elizabeth said: "Switching off, it's a repeat from last year". Mandy said: "Not a repeat of last year! Why?"
However, other fans were very impressed with the bloopers. Marion said: "Absolutely howling", while Reejayxox said: "#TheChase bloopers is exactly what I needed on my Saturday evening. Lmao Bradley Walsh by far one of the best presenters on tele.. just gotta love him" [sic].
