Fans of The Chase have praised one contestant for 'hustling' Mark 'The Beast' Labbett to score £20k in prize money.
Viewers watching tonight's edition of the ITV show (Tuesday, March 15) saw a team of hopefuls go up against their formidable foe in an attempt to win big.
But Simon - the first player forward - only managed to rack up one right answer in the cash builder round, generating just a grand for the prize pot.

As a result, Labbett gave him the option of going low for a mere £100 winnings or aiming high for £20k, and - to everyone's surprise - he chose the latter. The audience at home were even more shocked when Simon suddenly upped his game in the quick-fire round, answering a range of tricky questions to bag the £20,000 for his team.
And it left some viewers wondering if he'd deliberately answered incorrectly in the previous round in order to score a better offer from the chaser. One impressed fan tweeted, "He definitely played the chaser to get a higher offer," while another posted "He’s hustled him there - what a guy!"
And another fan couldn't help but agree, adding: "Definitely a hustle there. Like it a lot."
