ITV The Chase fans 'gutted' after show is moved to new timeslot

Many The Chase fans missed almost an entire episode on Monday after the popular game show aired at an earlier time.

A number of programmes have been moved or cancelled in recent weeks as ITV provides coverage of the World Cup 2022 from Qatar. The Chase usually airs weekdays from 5pm, but on Monday (December 5), the quiz show began at 4.15pm.

Bradley Walsh welcomed four new players to the studio. They were Tracy, Steve, Joe and Jenni.

However, some regular viewers missed the first forty-five minutes of the programme, after tuning in at the regular time of 5pm. Taking to Twitter, Jules said: "Forgot about the early start, was wasting time watching something else". Linda said: "Gutted, I didn't know it started early" with a gif of a woman crying.

Sally Anne said: "Strewth, didn't know it started at 4.15". SnappyShack said: "Seems to be a lack of people around for The Chase today. Is everyone going to arrive at 5pm?".

As part of ongoing schedule shakeups, there will be no episode of The Chase tomorrow (Tuesday) on ITV. This is because the Spain v Morroco game will air from 2pm to 5.15pm.

The Chase will return on Wednesday, at its usual time of 5pm on ITV and the ITV Hub.
