ITV The Chase fans complain as Bradley Walsh 'cuts players off'

The Chase's Bradley Walsh has been criticised by some fans who wish he wouldn't "cut players off".

The 61-year-old presenter once again welcomed four new players on this week's first edition of the ITV programme. Sue, Callum, Chris and Emily were testing their wits against one of Britain's biggest brains in a bid to win big money.

Chris, a teacher from Swansea, was first up to face The Governess. He had a decent cash builder, but was caught before making it back with the money.

Callum, a zoo keeper from Fife, was next. He was also caught and left the studio empty-handed.

Many viewers at home commented on how "ruthless" Anne was, with some even guessing nobody would make it to the final, others commented on Bradley's presenting style. Taking to Twitter, RikLiveTweet said: Why doesn't Brad give the answer to questions when he runs out of time?"

David Hendry replied: "Or when he cuts off the last question running out of time! I've always wanted him to at least finish it and tell us the answer a few times and have been left annoyed cause of that(cause am a nosey b******!)" [sic].

Steph said: "Really bugs me when he stops mid question. I NEED TO KNOW BRAD", replying to her own tweet she added: "Plus it's a bit mean cutting players off lol"

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
