ITV The Chase fans call it a 'fix' over 'easy' questions

A number of The Chase fans have slammed "easier" questions as a team narrowly missed out on £5,000 each.

Bradley Walsh again welcomed four new players to the studio. Karl, Serena, Amanda and Ross teamed up to take on a Chaser in the hopes of taking home some money.

In a rarity for the show, all four contestants made it to the final, and with a potential £20,000 to play for, after the Beast aka Mark Labbett failed to catch any of them out.

The team were up first, leaving the Beast a score of 22 to catch. But Mark caught the players out with 10 seconds to spare. Afterwards he said he was "ecstatic" to catch them as it was "an A+ performance".

Mark said: "You are one of the best performers to leave with nothing".

Some viewers took to Twitter to commend the Chaser, but others believed the questions had different levels of difficulty.

Paul said: "What day is Christmas on? Seriously, fix it for the Chaser or what?", while Missy said: "Even I can answer the Beast's questions", and Kim said: "Easy questions for the Chaser tonight".

Kaitlyn said: "Beast on form today!" and Andy said: "Superb work B man, no beating that". Paul said: "Well played Beasty Boy".

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITVX
