He revealed that Debbie had died following a cancer diagnosis. He said: She had breast cancer 14 years before this that had been away for a number of years, but about a year after she filmed this it came back in her bones and then in her brain."

A second said: "It's a condition I have had, I am sure she enjoyed every minute of being on the show, brave lady."

According to the Daily Star, when Debbie appeared on the The Chase, she spoke of her husband and said she would buy them both a motorbike if they were to win some money.

After her cash builder, which saw her rack up £5,000, Shaun welcomed her with a cheeky: "Hello Debbie," prompting Bradley Walsh to yell: "What was that?"

Debbie teased back: "Hello Shaun," before turning to Bradley and saying: "See I wasn't being flirty was I?"

Bradley said: "Well I don't know about that" while Shaun rushed to her defence and said she "wasn't flirting" with him.
