ITV Saturday Night Takeaway viewers complain to Ant and Dec for 'sending their dogs mad'

It wasn't only human viewers shouting at their telly with excitement during the latest episode of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

Fans of the family entertainment show were loving their high-energy new game which went live to the homes of audience members via their doorbell camera as neighbours raced to 'ring my bell' for a cash prize.

But viewers also complained that it was sending their dogs mad.

Fans took to Twitter to complain to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly and some shared videos of the chaos that ensued.

@jenny_pratt_ tweeted: "@antanddec loved the ring my bell segment. But I hate you because my dogs been non stop barking for the past 15 minutes #ringmybell #saturdaynighttakeaway."

@klm1510 asked: "So who else’s dog went mental at all the ring doorbells on @antanddec Saturday Night Takeaway?"

@DonnaAlice told them: "@antanddec love the ‘ring my doorbell’.

"However you are sending my dog into a frenzy as she keeps thinking there’s someone at the door! @itvtakeaway."

@Raicheb2 said: "Thanks @antanddec- the dogs have been thinking there’s someone at the door for the past few minutes."

@Arron1970 commented: "Thanks Ant and Dec, the dog is going mad!"

@febfiesta typed: "Loving the new 'Ring my bell' feature on @antanddec's @itvtakeaway. However, the dog has gone in to orbit."

And @ANethell tweeted: "Thanks @antanddec for making my dog go mental with #ringmybell."

But @Laceandloveshoe urged: "Ring my bell was so much fun, please have that next week again!"
