ITV This Morning's Scottish guests have shared their incredible story after arriving in Ukraine to help take people to safety.
The two Scottish landscape gardeners were asked by a grateful Ukrainian woman if they would be godparents to one of the children they have given a chance at a free life, after bringing them to the border of the country.
Local heroes Joe McCarthy and Gary Taylor appeared on ITV's This Morning to share their story of how they are fundraising to stay in Ukraine as long as possible, and what they have came across when making the trip to help the people of the decimated country.

Joseph McCarthy, who is the owner of Ready2Rock, and his colleague Gary Taylor set off last week in their work van - which they've kitted out with sleeping bags and food for those most in need.
Speaking to presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield this morning, the two men shared how their families are coping with their presence in the country, and how they are helping from home.
Gary Taylor said: "M y mums absolutely petrified for me, my two kids are really proud of me, they’re going about telling all their friends."
Joe went into detail of how they are going about helping people, explaining: "We joined a Facebook page and a lot of people have joined our TikTok account.
"They’re following the journey and we’re also getting a lot of messages from there, it’s growing by the day.
"We’re still using google maps to find our way about, it’s working fine with all the little roads, it’s just the check points that are difficult."
Gary added: " Yeah the language barrier is quite hard to deal with, but we met a nice policeman who wrote us a letter that explains our situation, and it’s helped us get through all the barriers a lot quicker."

Joe continued: " The original plan was to stay as long as the £10,000 lasted, but buying the van was €8,000 alone! Lots of people have been helping and supporting us in the background as well.
"When we find people who need our help we book them hotels , let them get a good nights sleep knowing they’re safe, then get them to the border.
"We’re going to stay as long as possible."
Joe and Gary's families have set up a GoFundMe to keep them subsidised with money for as long as possible, so they can save as many people as possible.
The GoFundMe has raised over £32,000 so far, with ITV also making a donation during the programme today.
So far, the pair have gotten 11 people across the border, and are two hours away from getting another group to safety today.
One of the women in today's group has requested to Joe and Gary that they take up the position of godparents to her child, in a sentimental and lovely gesture.
Gary said: " Yes, she did actually ask us to be her child's godparents and it was a really lovely thing to hear.
"She is still with us at the moment. We’re about 2 hours from the border, so she’ll leave us then."
When presenters Holly and Phillip praised the pair for their heroic actions, Joe brushed off the comments and said: "We’re not heroes, we’re just here helping people and doing what we can to make their lives safer.
"It just so happens to be us, it could be anybody else doing this, we're the ones who bit the bullet and decided to put words into action."
