Fans of ITV's The Voice have praised one of its contestants for sounding just like one of the judges when he sings. Benjamin Moss had fans thinking he sounded like legendary singer Tom Jones.
Benjamin, who said he had been singing all his life, opened tonight's show (September 17). He sang Hallelujah I Love Her So by Ray Charles.
The former Tesco worker was quick to get a turn from one of the judges. But sadly not from Sir Tom.
Instead, it was Ollie who turned his big red chair. He hit his buzzer within seconds of the song starting.
But fans of the show took to Twitter to share the similarity between Benjamin's voice and Sir Tom's.
Gillian Hudson (@JillHudson21) said: "He sounds a tad like @RealSirTomJones." She added: "He’s gutted that Sir Tom didn’t turn for him, I’m sure he would have picked him if he had."
But some fans of the show didn't think his performance was good enough to be compared to the Welsh legend. Dee (@Deew04) said: "Bit Tom Jones tribute act..."
However, many viewers loved the opening act.
