It was another exciting episode of The Chase on Tuesday night, as presenter Bradley Walsh welcomed four new challengers to take on a chaser in the hit ITV show. Jude, Nick, Su, and Chante were up against Anne 'The Governess' Hegerty in the episode - but would they be able to evade her?
Jude was the first to have their knowledge tested against the chaser. The 61-year-old business consultant took on The Governess, deciding to stick with £5,000 and managed to answer all the questions correctly, putting him through to the final.
Next up was Nick from Hull, a finance partner for a bathroom company. The "big music fan" said he had his own radio show and that he'd use the money to go on a "long-awaited" family holiday to "somewhere nice in the sun." With Jude already having secured £5,000, Nick decided to play against the chaser for a mid-offer of £5,000. You can get more TV news and other story updates by subscribing to our newsletters here.

Answering questions on where Eriador was in literature, what cooked apples are encased in in an apple charlotte pudding, and what mulch is used for in gardening, Nick made it through to the final, securing £10,000 for the team's prize fund.
There was one question, however, that got Bradley and the contestants giggling in Nick's round. They were asked, 'The breakfast food known in Scotland as 'tattie scones' goes by what name in Ireland?' with the options for answers being 'fadge,' 'menge,' and 'clonge.' While both Nick and the chaser answered quickly, titters went up from the audience and Bradley had to try and hold back laughter. "You can do it Brad," Anne Hegerty told the presenter as he tried to get back on track. The correct answer was 'fadge,' with Bradley quipping "That's what you want for breakfast - a touch of fadge." Both Nick and the chaser got the answer right, putting Nick through to the final.
Property renovator Su was next to take on the Governess, having secured £8,000 in the general knowledge round. With the chaser to face, Su decided to "go big" and play for £40,000. But things took a turn for Su when she tripped up on the question of when UK drivers are allowed to not wear a seatbelt, answering 'in a car park' instead of the correct answer, 'when reversing,' allowing the chaser to get closer.
Finally, it was question on which of three answers was a real football team in Russia that knocked Su out of the round. The chaser was able to catch up with the correct answer, ending the round, but the Governess said that Su had been "very brave" for going for the higher offer of £40,000 to play.
"No pressure on me now," 28-year-old Chante, who was next to take on the chaser, joked. The Manchester native and dog groomer wanted money for a new porch - but only managed to secure £2,000 in the general knowledge round. She decided to play for £1,000 against the chaser.
The Governess kept close behind Chante throughout the round and, for the question "Which part of the body did Leonardo da Vinci describe as 'a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art'" managed to knock Chante out. The correct answer was 'the foot' but Chante had answered 'the hand.'
With Su and Chante gone, Nick and Jude were left to take on the Governess together. With just two of the original four left over, they managed to get 17 questions correct in the Final Chase. The pair were able to push the chaser back a number of times during the round, answering the question she got wrong correctly.
With an excruciating eight seconds to spare, the chaser had been pushed back two spaces and couldn't manage to catch up with Nick and Jude. The pair were able to split £10,000 between them with Jude saying he'd spend the money on "maybe a bike, maybe a holiday" while Nick had his heart set on a holiday.
Viewers took to social media to voice their support for Nick and Jude in their win against Anne Hegerty. Georgina wrote: "The chase was good! Not very often #annehegerty is caught."
Support for the pair was also voiced by @heansey, who wrote: "Bloody hell tha [sic] was close, well done team of two." Brian Harris wrote: "Well done lads. Strong play. Deserved."
