Hosted by comic actress and writer Sally Phillips, the prestigious ceremony will include a headline set from the nineties music icon Heather as well as appearances from veteran TV presenter Carol Vorderman, footballing legend John Barnes and one of the country's favourite TV chefs, Ainsley Harriott.

Katie Price will be in attendance along with her son Harvey who is being recognised in the Celebrity of the Year category for his role in their deeply personal documentary which garnered over five million views in 30 days.

Hot on the heels from the Love Island Villa, finalists Faye Winter and Teddy Soares will be joined by Hugo Hammond, DJ Rickie Haywood-Williams, and actor Richard Blackwood who will all hand out gongs on the night.

Closer to home, Scouse sensations Christine McGuinness, Philip Olivier and Jennifer Ellison will also take centre stage at the Liverpool venue to show their support alongside the cast of Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

Acting Editor, Rachel Corp, ITV News said: “We are pleased that ITV News will once again be supporting the National Diversity Awards.

"ITV News remains committed to telling the stories of those, who through their work and dedication to helping others have made a difference; enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion in our society.

"We look forward to introducing the 2021 nominees to our viewers across the regions and nation.”

Activist Katie Piper, Emmerdale star Ash Palmisciano and Paralympic Gold Medallist Danny Crates were on this year’s judging panel, dedicating their time to help choose the highly anticipated shortlist.
