ITV's Lorraine launches X-rated rant about Britney Spears' ex Jason Alexander

If you want an honest opinion on something, ask a Scot.

That's exactly what ITV host Lorraine Kelly offered up today, when she was discussing the news from the US overnight that Britney Spears got married - and her ex gatecrashed the wedding.

Lorraine branded Jason Alexander a "total a***" and said she was "angry" to be even discussing the stunt.

Britney, 40, tied the knot with long-term partner Sam Ashgari at her LA home on Thursday.

But the ceremony was interrupted by Jason Alexander, who was previously married to Britney in 2004 for just 55 hours before it was annulled.

As he approached security at the venue, he said he was planning to attend on an Instagram live video.

He told followers he'd been invited by his famous ex - who was a childhood pal of his.

Jason stated that she was his first and only wife, and he was going to gatecrash the wedding.

But Lorraine had no time for his shenanigans, as Ross King said Britney had "enough drama in her life" so far.

Lorraine replied: "What a total a*** doing that to Britney when he was married to her for about a minute and a half.

"He is obviously looking for publicity, I'm quite annoyed we're even talking about it."

During the Instagram Live, he was seen storming into a marquee set up on the grounds of Britney's home as he started shouting for the singer.

"So here's the inside scoop guys at the bulls**t wedding, Jason Alexander, what's up," he says as he moves around the marquee.

Images of a huge rose garland hanging above the aisle were seen in the video as workers put the finishing touches to the special day.

The former flame then proceeds to walk around Britney's home before a security guard accosts him.

"Don't f***ing touch me," he warns one as he asks: "Where's Britney?"

As the situation escalates, Jason's phone freezes and police officers later intervene and arrest him.

According to TMZ, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department arrived at the scene after receiving a call reporting an incident of trespassing.

It's not yet known if Britney was in the house at the time of the terrifying incident.
