ITV's Lorraine Kelly wades in on Phillip and Holly 'feud' and gives verdict on This Morning future

Lorraine Kelly has broken her silence on the rumoured between her ITV colleagues Schofield and Holly Willoughby and declaring it's 'unlikely' they'll leave This Morning any time soon.

It's often been claimed that, as well as hosting the daytime show together for over a decade now, Phillip and Holly have forged a strong friendship off screen too, with her being there for him when he came out at the start of 2020, sitting beside him on the This Morning sofa as he gave a candid interview about being gay.

However, over the last week,. it's been widely reported that relations have cooled between the two presenters, with Phillip responding to the speculation with an emotional statement in which he claimed she was his 'rock' and that he'd also been there for her during tough times.

While Phillip is being tipped to leave This Morning, he and and Holly have now hosted the show together twice this week, speaking to Lorraine live on air on both Monday and Tuesday.

And now she has publicly addressed the speculation of something being 'off' between them and talk they could be soon making an exit. She told The Sun: "Do you know what they were back today and it was business as usual and everyone is just getting on with it.

“I would be sad if they left the show but I don’t think that is ever likely to happen and I think they're just getting on with it."

While Lorraine has offered some support to Phillip and Holly, their former This Morning co-star Eamonn Holmes has done anything but, with the now GB News anchor accusing the pair of 'faking' their friendship for cameras and quipping that they should have won a special acting award at Sunday night's BAFTAs.
