Lorraine Kelly has found herself in hot water with viewers after they complained they complained that her show has 'completely ruinined' Happy Valley. The presenter was fronting her self-titled ITV daytime show on Friday (February 3) when she showed off her own acting skills.
She kicked off the programme by pretending to be a sidekick of Sarah Lancashire's character in the BBC One drama, Sergeant Catherine Cawood, as she jokingly arrested her guest, Amit Shah, who plays pharmacist Faisal Bhatti.
Those who have been tuning in to the third and final series of Happy Valley quickly came to realise that Faisal wasn't the squeaky clean man he portrayed himself to be. He was in fact completely over his head and had even been plotting with his neighbour Joanna Hepworth to murder her abusive PE teacher husband Rob.

Warning... spoilers ahead for Happy Valley series three.
Joanna, played by former Coronation Street star Mollie Winnard, got pharmacist Faisal on board to help her after lying that Rob knew he had been illegally supplying her with diazepam and was on the warpath. Armed with a loaded syringe, Faisal was fuming when Joanna tried to back out of their plan to kill bullying Rob and in a fit of rage ended up killing her instead, leaving fans' jaws on the floor.
"He is a handsome local pharmacist and is a regular guy who you would probably think would blend into the background and he feels a bit invisible in his own life, but he’s made some really bad decisions," Amit said of his twisted character. Lorraine then added: "Yes, he has committed murder and he has been selling drugs to people and shouldn’t have been and then he’s got in trouble with them all…he has made interesting choices, but I have to say though, his family are awful."
But Amit looked quite confused, and asked 'really?', before Lorraine again said: ‘Yes, they are.’ But her guest quietly replied: "They’re lovely," before the host repeated her point. "The wife and daughter are awful. You can almost feel a wee bit of sympathy for him," she said.
Amit then responded: "Ok well I guess… No… It's not justification for him to murder someone. And while Lorraine did agree with him on that, the conversation soon moved on and the pair went on to talk about the series finale which will air this Sunday (February 5) at 9pm on BBC One.
But also during the programme, Lorraine had sent Ria Hebden on a tour of Happy Valley's filming locations in Yorkshire and discussed predictions for the show's gripping conclusion. However, viewers were flocking to social media to complain as they shared some 'spoilers' from the series that some haven't watched yet.
@janicelowry1 tweeted: "Not even a spoiler alert before thon doll Ria completely ruined the last 5 episodes of @HappyValley for anyone who’s saving it for a binge watch #thankfullyIvewatchedit #lorraine." @sollytime posted: "#lorraine I just want to thank you for giving away a load of spoilers on Happy Valley. We were planning to watch it from season 1, now we know who dies and when and who goes to prison etc etc. great work."
