The Loose Women panel were left swooning over their fellow co-star Stacey Solomon's wedding hair transformation on Monday's show. Opening the ITV programme, Kaye Adams said that they wished to send a "huge congratulations" to Stacey and her partner Joe Swash following reports they had got hitched in a ceremony at their Pickle Cottage.
"Finally they tied the knot yesterday at their home in Essex," Loose Women anchor Kaye explained as the song 'Congratulations' by Cliff Richard played in the background. "I hope the pair of you had the most wonderful day," she added: "I can't imagine that the day after your wedding day you'll be sitting watching us to be perfectly honest".
Coleen Nolan added that she "can't wait to see the photos" but the panel were also left admiring the 32-year-old's hair transformation ahead of her big day, which she shared with her 5.3m followers on Friday. The TV personality, who first found fame on the X Factor, revealed she'd gone from her red locks back to blonde, to "feel as me as possible" before her special day.
A picture of Stacey's Instagram post, where she was smiling at the camera with her new golden brown and blonde hair style, was shown on the screen and met with oohs and aahs from the panel, which also included Brenda Edwards and Jane Moore. "She looks wonderful there doesn't she?" Kaye asked as her fellow co-stars agreed.
Taking to social media just a few days ago, Stacey had revealed her hair change ahead of her wedding. She wrote: "Wedding Hair Done. It feels so so lovely to be blonde again. For some reason I just wanted to be back to me and my (not so natural but natural) for our special day.
"As much as I love changing to fun bright colours I didn't want anything crazy for the wedding and just want to feel as me as possible, I love it so much. It was a process but it was sooo WORTH IT."
In her most recent Instagram story update Stacey revealed she would be taking some time away from her phone to soak up "every moment". According to a report from The Mirror, the mum-of-four wrote: "Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for you're beautiful messages and the kindest well wishes ever.
"Thank you for all your advice and tips. One of the pieces of advice all of you told me was to soak it all in and enjoy every second because it's over in a flash. So I'm going to say goodbye to my phone for a few days. And makes sure I take in every moment. The setup. The getting ready. The day. And the aftermath.
"I love you all lots and lots. Thank you for your kindness always. Lots and lots of love from Joe, Harry, Zachary, Leighton, Rex and Rosie. And me - soon to be Solomon Swash."
