ITV viewers tuned in for the penultimate episode of brand new Martin Compston drama Our House on Wednesday night - and many were left disappointed.
The Greenock born actor plays serial cheater Bram Lawson in the on-screen adaptation of Louise Candlish's book of the same name.
Viewers already noticed an embarrassing plot hole from Tuesday nights episode as Compston's character's passport listed Greenock as being part of England, much to the delight of the Scots watchers.
Fans took to social media to vent after the 'disappointing' episode with many claiming the series has gone 'downhill' since the first episode aired on Monday night.
One viewer raged: " @ITV So ITV are still working from home, so you can't comment on the phone? Our House must be one of the worst drama series ever, as we could only hear 1 word in 4 due to the very loud music, noisy surroundings and poor speech of the actors. We felt we needed subtitles! Cheated!"
Another ranted: "This plot is beyond ridiculous now, and that voice annoying..switching off #OurHouse,"
"Typical #ITV drama. S**** ending. #OurHouse," another disappointed viewer wrote.
Someone else said: " #ourhouse itv was intrigued at first but as went on found It disappointing and unbelievable"
"If you've got time spare & are thinking of watching 'Our House' on ITV - don't bother, it's full of holes and the ending is shite!," another angry viewer tweeted.
Another stated: "This is too far fetched. There are so many checks in property buying and selling, this sort of thing wouldn’t happen".
"Why the hell would you let it get so out of hand! It showed promise but now it's just plain daft," another echoed.
However, not everyone agreed with the criticism.
One user buzzed: "How good is Our House #itv #Gripping "
A third gushed: " #OurHouse couldnt wait for tomorrow so when i saw the final ep on itv hub i had to watch it,no spoilers but loved it,not many shows keep my attention but this did @martin_compston #no91 "
Another tweeted: "So good #OurHouse but why did Fi ask him how he knew, can’t wait for final ep tomorrow @ITV "
The final episode of Our House airs tonight on ITV at 9pm. Or is available to watch on ITV Player.
