ITV Our House: Martin Compston teases 'dark ending' to ITV thriller on Lorraine

Popular Scottish star Martin Compston appeared on Lorraine this morning to discuss the final episode of his brand new ITV thriller, Our House.

Playing bad guy Bram Lawson, Martin has been praised for his performance as the despicable character who is tormenting estranged wife Fi (Tuppence Middleton).

Lorraine commented on Martin's natural charm in playing Bram, which makes the character a bit more bearable, and the Scot was in agreement.

Martin said: "t’s kind of something I hadn’t done before, sort of that classic ITV thriller which is verging on a bit creepy.

"So one of the challenges was for me that because Bram was so despicable and has his bad ways, I have to get viewers to kind of be rooting for him a bit so there’s that.

“But when you read something like Our House, it is exciting as there’s cliffhangers, there’s twists and turns, so when I’m excited reading it, you know that it’s got to be a good one!”

The first three episodes have been airing from Monday till now, and many fans are excited to watch the final episode tonight.

One Twitter user said: "I'm loving it - resisting the temptation to watch right the way through! Bram is such a sympathetic character, in spite of everything. So looking forward to the finale tonight! Huge congratulations to you, Louise, and the whole cast & production team #OurHouse."

And a third wrote: "Thoroughly enjoying Our House on ITV, with Tuppance Middleton & Martin Compston. So intense and dramatic all in one. #OurHouse #ITV."

Speaking on the last instalment of the show, Lorraine revealed that she has held off till tonight to watch it with the rest of the TV lovers, instead of binging the show all at once.

Martin added: “It’s a dark ending, shall I say, but there will be answers to questions, which I think is really important in the final episode.”

The final epsiode of ITV's Our House will air tonight at 9pm, with the first three episodes available for catch-up on the ITV Hub.
