Popular Scottish actor Martin Compston has revealed that he has to "nip out" when watching new ITV drama Our House with his mum, due to certain scenes he filmed.
The Line of Duty star has been doing the rounds hyping up his brand new ITV show starring himself as as baddie husband Bram Lawson, who suffers an estranged relationship with wife Fi, played by Tuppence Middleton.
This morning, Martin appeared on Capital Breakfast alongside radio DJ Roman Kemp to chat all things Our House, as well as being a potential shout for 007, and his Line of Duty cast WhatsApp chat.

Co-presenter Sonny Jay asked Martin: "When it comes to viewing your shows, do you throw like a viewing party for you and your mates or are you one of those people that just has to sit in the room alone and goes ’no one watch!"
Martin grinned and replied: "100%, I can’t…the only time I‘ll ever watch it with people is if I’m getting back home and it’s the first time I haven’t been home for a while, so I’ll watch it, go up to the parents’ house.
"But this one…there’s a few scene’s that’s maybe not… you don’t want to be sitting watching with your mum, so I’ll probably nip out at those points. "
Martin also revealed that playing Bram in Our House will be as close as he gets to playing any type of character in James Bond, as he'd prefer to be the villain.
Martin said: " I’d love to be a baddie, Daniel Craig did such a good job, good luck to whoever is following his footsteps, because, I don’t know where you go with it, because it kind of started from the beginning and followed through.
"I’d probably prefer to be a baddie but as I say, this show I’m developing is sort of, it’s more of a period drama but it’s in that vein."
Roman also mentioned his former co-star Vicky McClure's success in high-tension drama Trigger Point, also on ITV, and asked if the actress was also in his corner for Our House.
Martin said: "I’m sure she will, she will definitely get a few digs privately on Whatsapp but in public, but I’m sure she’ll be my biggest fan, and I wouldn’t expect anything less from Vick, she’s a superstar.
"I’ve said this but the fact that this woman who is just obsessed with Sunday lunches, tea and hot water bottles is the biggest action star on British Tele, I love it, I love it man."
Co-host Sian Welby excitedly asked: "Oh we love her she’s great. Also you spoke about Whatsapp, please tell me your Whatsapp group with Line of Duty people is called ‘Bent Coppers’?"
Martin jokingly replied: "No it’s called…because Vicky’s got these daft words, I think it’s called ‘Shalamandro’.
"Because Vicky just makes up words and then finds out...the thing is Vicky is hilarious because she’s almost funny, and she comes up with these stupid things, she’s the kind of person to be telling you a joke and then start laughing before she tells you the punchline and she just makes up.
"So when she does that she starts making up words and then she finds them utter hilarious and just because she’s laughing, you start laughing and so yeah, that’s what it’s called, just after her making up random words."
You can tune into Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, weekdays from 6am – 10am across the UK.
The third episode of Our House is on air tonight at 9pm on ITV, with the final episode at the same time tomorrow night.
