Capital FM DJ Roman Kemp was left stunned when he discovered that his mum and dad had been competing on ITV's The Masked Singer. This weekend Cat and Mouse became the first duo to be unmasked in four series of the celeb singing show, Manchester Evening News reports.
Superstar Lulu turned out to be Piece of Cake, and in the first episode on New Year's Day there was a heartwarming moment as Ghost was revealed as the recently honoured football legend Chris Kamara. He has received an outpouring of support after the release of his documentary which shone a light on his battle with a speech disorder.
This week, Cat and Mouse were revealed to be husband and wife Martin and Shirlie Kemp. Shirlie, 60, who also have a famous son - Roman.

Asked if their son, Capital Breakfast DJ Roman Kemp, knew that they had taken part, Shirlie said after their unmasking, "No this is going to embarrass him. Most people say they are doing it for their kids." Martin added: "We're doing it to embarrass them."
Roman, 29, shared his "priceless" reaction to their unveiling on social media. He posted a video on TikTok and Instagram of himself looking dumbstruck as he watched them unmask.
He asked: "Can some please explain what is going on?" as fans said they had been waiting to see his response. He captioned the video: "ARE YOU JOKING THO" and tagged in his parents.
Ruby1510 laughed: "They’re only mission was to embarrass you." And jamesnathanrobson said: "Nothing better than some embarrassment from the parentals love this !!!! He he."
Jimclark1990 said: "My first thought was your reaction." And emmz90 wrote: "Been checking this since it aired howling!" keeler_gram wrote: "Lmfao your reaction is priceless." And helenmike said: "Was waiting for this."
Over on Twitter Roman shared the moment he saw the unmasking. He leaped to his feet and shouted jokingly at his mum: "I knew it I knew it! You're a liar, look at you both there!"
He also tweeted: "ARE YOU F*****G JOKING." before telling his mum and dad "fair play." Roman also realised: "I JUST SHOUTED THE PHRASE “TAKE IT OFF” TO MY PARENTS I CANT UNDO THAT." And he added: "That’s enough internet for today…" Shirlie joked on her Twitter: "And to think, our kids thought we were on a romantic getaway…"
