Love Island has been racking up the official complaints since it returned to screens last month. The ITV2 dating show has been back, dishing out drama, dumpings and bombshells, for the past four weeks and there's still plenty more to go.
Viewers have been following every twist and turn with all eyes currently on the carnage set to be caused by Casa Amor. During the latest trip to the Mallorcan villa and its second property on Monday night (July 4) relationships are heating up in the Love Island villa as new bombshell Coco Lodge kissed both Davide Sanclimenti and Andrew Le Page.
The latest episode saw the Casa Amor split continue to test the couples as islanders in both villas explored new connections with many sharing their first kisses and the Raunchy Race challenge also provided an opportunity for the new arrivals to make their moves as well as igniting the competitive spirit between the two villas.

But despite fans of the show following along every night at 9pm on the TV and on social media, it hasn't stopped them sharing their real frustrations with those in charge. The Daily Star has revealed that Love Island has been hit by over 700 complaints since it returned to screens.
An Ofcom spokesperson confirmed to the publication that 781 official complaints had been made by fans so far during the 2022 series, relating to a number of different events and topics including bullying and some stars given more screen time than others.
They report the broadcasting watchdog as saying: "On background, the main themes have been certain contestants being bullied; certain contestants’ wellbeing and mental health; the age gap between certain contestants and certain contestants being given more screen time in the main show edit than others."
A kiss between 19-year-old Gemma Owen, the daughter of former footballer Michael Owen, and Davide Sanclimenti, 27, was one of the first moments to spark a flurry of complaints, with almost 200 lodged to Ofcom earlier in the series. This was mainly due to viewers feeling uncomfortable with the age gap between the pair, with Gemma being the youngest contestant.
Just last week the show was hit with 75 Ofcom complaints from fans upset by an episode featuring a heated row involving Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. The complaints came in after viewers accused boys in the TV villa of 'bullying' the Turkish actress following her explosive argument with Jay Younger.
The programme received complaints following the episode which aired on Thursday, June 23, with protests relating to the treatment of Ekin-Su during the programme as many fans on Twitter claimed the boys were 'bullying' Ekin-Su during the scenes.
