ITV Love Island's Gemma Owen wows fans with stunning glam for first red carpet appearance

Gemma Owen has stunned her fans after sharing a glamorous look she wore for her debut red carpet appearance. The Love Island star, who came runner-up in the 2022 series with Luca Bish, attended the Mirror People's Pet Awards 2022 in what was her first run on a red carpet.

The brunette beauty, 19, revealed her stunning glam by sharing a post to her 2.1 million Instagram followers. Michael Owen's daughter wore her long hair scraped back in a ponytail with a bold, bronze smokey-eye look created by a renowned celebrity make-up artist.

The international dressage rider donned a long-sleeved figure hugging dress from designer brand Mugler which she paired with some black strappy heels, with her partner Luca, 23, sporting a black suit.

The couple's appearance came just weeks after the pair finally announced they had made their relationship official. After falling for each other in front of the nation on Love Island, Luca asked Gemma to be his girlfriend in a very romantic setting.

After a much anticipated build up, fans were thrilled as the fishmonger shared a clip documenting the sweet moment. Luca from Brighton asked the all-important question in a tropical villa decorated with candles, balloons and rose petals.

The video showed red balloons floating in a pool which spelled out 'by my girlfriend', with Luca giving his beau a Cartier bracelet.

In an interview during their first big event appearance, the couple said as animal lovers they were "so excited" to be there. After Gemma shared a picture of her glamorous look, fans rushed to compliment her.

@x.rubyheath commented: "Your so stunning!!," as @lemma_x_x wrote: "Angel."

@ava_.murray3 said: "The colour complements you so much wow."

Her makeup artist @annalingis added: "You beauty, a day we won’t forget."
