ITV Love Island's Gemma Owen claps back at Molly-Mae Hague comparisons as she launches Pretty Little Thing collection

Gemma Owen has clapped back at any comparisons between herself and Molly-Mae Hague as the former Love Island star launched her first edit with Pretty Little Thing. It was announced back in August that the teen Love Island star would be the brand's latest ambassador.

Molly-Mae, who also shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2019, also signed with PLT when she left the show's famous villa and the 23-year-old has since become a creative director for the fashion brand.

When speaking about her edit with PLT, former footballer Michael Owen's daughter responded to claims she's following in Molly'-Mae's footsteps. "I think my style is timeless and in the moment," she said. "I think my edit is mine, it's true to me and what I am."
