It may only have been a few months since Love Island was on our screens - but the popular ITV dating show is back for a winter version.
For just the second time a new batch of singletons will head to the villa over the winter months in their search for 'the one' and the chance of winning a £50,000 cash prize.
The big twist during the winter series is that it will not be filmed in the usual location in Mallorca - but is in fact south of the equator to take advtange of the warmer weather.
The Islanders will be soaking up the sun in South Africa in a huge £1.2 million villa in the wine region of Franschhoek. Their home for the next few weeks will be the luxury Ludus Magnus villa which has a huge Olympic-size outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor gym, a wooden treehouse, vineyard, stage area and infamous firepit.

Among those taking part in the show over the next few weeks is payroll administrator Anna-May Robey. The 20-year-old from Swansea says she aims to bring fun into he villa saying she is 'always up for a laugh'.
She said: "I’ll bring energy to the Villa, I'll get everyone up playing games! I‘m also not afraid to get in someone's way; if I like someone, I’ll let them know."
Explaining her reasons for taking part in the show, Anna-May added: "I want a boyfriend, I want to find someone who makes me laugh. I’ve been single for quite a while, my mother is bugging me, she's like, ‘You need to find a boyfriend.’
"I’m just excited to try something new and I think going on Love Island is a good way to meet someone."
But it may not be straightforward if she does find a special someone on the show. Anna-May, who said she falls in love quickly, added: "I become obsessed with someone when they don’t like me. But, when they start giving me the attention that I want I’m not interested anymore."
And the boys also better be careful about their grooming habits around her. She said: "I don’t like people who brag or who are really materialistic. Another thing is watching a boy get his haircut and the barber pushing up the seat, you know the pumping thing?
"I used to go to the barber with my ex and I used to sit there and every time the barber would do it, I would have to look away."
In her intro video Anna-May added: "I am a proper chatterbox. Once you get me going I don't stop. I once went on a date where I chatted so much that he actually started to fall asleep at the dinner table.
"Ot was hysterical. I need someone to tame me and calm me down."
Anna-May can be found on Instagram @annamayrobey and has a TikTok account @annamayrobey.
Entering the winter Love Island villa alongside Anna-May are ring girl Olivia Hawkins, student Tanya Manhenga, hair stylist Tanyel Revan, makeup artist Lana Jenkins, TV salesman Haris Namani, teacher Kai Fagan, financial advisor Ron Hall, airport security officers Shaq Muhammad and farmer Will Young.
This year the show will be hosted by Maya Jama, 28, after Laura Whitmore left the series last year. Laura, 37, took over from her friend Caroline Flack in January 2020 to present the first ever winter series and continued hosting after Caroline's tragic death in February 2020.
Not only is there is a new host this year, but ITV bosses have also announced several changes to the show including a social media ban. In a show's first the contestants will have to disable their social media accounts during their time on the show in a bid to protect both them and their families from online abuse.
Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 16th January on ITV2 and ITVX.
