Love Island is set to return early next year with its winter edition alongside a brand new host. The winter series of the ITV2 dating show, which is filmed in South Africa, first aired back in 2020 and saw Finn Tapp and Paige Turley crowned the winners.
Laura Whitmore, 37, took over as the Love Island host from Caroline Flack in January 2020 and after presenting the first winter series, she continued in the role following Caroline's tragic death in February 2020. But after Laura announced at the end of the last series this year that she was quitting, Maya Jama has now taken over as the brand new face of the show.
Viewers will see Maya make her debut as the new host in the second winter series, which is speculated to air in January next year. The 28-year-old TV and radio presenter recently hosted Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-Up Star and Simon Cowell’s music competition gameshow Walk The Line.
