TV presenter Laura Whitmore was corrected after she attempted to mock Tasha Ghouri on Saturday Kitchen. Love Island host Laura made a jokey jibe at Islander Tasha when she appeared as a guest on the BBC cookery show.
As they discussed the food and drink about to be served up on Matt Tebbut's weekend show, Laura was told rosé wine was on the menu. Recalling a moment from the TV villa, she poked fun at dancer Tasha's knowledge about rosé wine.
But her comment backfired when wine expert Helen McGinn took Tasha's side in the discussion. Laura claimed Tasha had got confused in thinking rosé was red and white wine mixed together.

She said: "Also, Tasha on Love Island this year she thought rose wine was red wine and white wine mixed together which is apparently not how you make it." But she was stunned to be quickly corrected.
Helen told her: "Well I have to say Tasha's not completely wrong". And a surprised Laura replied:" Oh! Go on." And Helen explained: "In Champagne you are allowed to mix red and white wine to make rose, but only in Champagne in France."
Matt observed: "Yeah but that doesn't make it funny." And a laughing Laura retorted: "Do you think Tasha thought that? Do you think Tasha thought that?" And Helen smiled as she said: "I love Tasha!"
Viewer @poursomesugar92 tweeted: "One minute in and Laura has already tried to shame someone else’s intelligence, only for it to backfire." And @HollyJadeNewell messaged to Helen: "Well done on sticking up for Tasha at least someone understands #BeKind."
They added: "She should know better and she shouldn’t be a presenter if she is gonna be rude. I don’t know who she thinks she is that Laura, glad you put her in her place." And @EefyPC asked: "Why keep dragging Tasha into this? There are several methods to make rose."
Pescatarian Laura praised the dining scene while abroad filming the ITV2 dating contest, saying: "The food in Mallorca is gorgeous. I'm very lucky." And she raved about the eighth series of Love Island as 'the best ever.' "This series has been the best series ever I think that's fair to say. It's a lot of fun," she said.
