A Love Island fan was in disbelief when he spotted Jacques O'Neill on his flight home.
The 23-year-old quit the popular dating programme earlier this week. The Rugby League player had been coupled up with Paige Thorne, but tearfully confessed he was struggling and needed to leave the Majorcan villa to get back to his normal self.
He said: "You mean so much to me you know that. The past two weeks have been hard. I've been putting on a brave face but things are getting to me."

Jacques was flying back from Palma to Leeds-Bradford airport - and fans were stunned when they spotted the Islander on their flight. A man told Hull Live how the reality TV star took selfies with fans before boarding the plane.
He said: "I was shocked seeing him as I didn’t catch up on the episodes due to being on holiday but then I saw him at the airport in Palma Nova. It was a complete shock to everyone there, the whole airport couldn’t believe it."
He added. "What I thought was most touching is that he took time to get pictures with people after what he explained to the viewers on Tuesday night. This completely changed the view of what others thought of Jacques."
It was confirmed that Jacques had dropped in on training at his former club Castleford Tigers yesterday. The club have first option on resigning him if he wishes to resume his playing career, but head coach Lee Radford said no discussions had been held.
