Love Island fans have claimed they 'need convincing' after tuning into the latest episode of Aftersun. All eyes were on Maya Jama as she returned for hosting duties on the Sunday night spin-off after she was seen entering the South African villa.
Friday night's edition of the ITV2 dating show saw the 28-year-old pay the islanders a visit as she had news of a double dumping. Spencer Wilks, Aaron Waters and Kai Fagan were all at risk of leaving the reality show after landing in the bottom three following a public vote for favourite villa residents.
Sunday's episode saw Maya saying: "Girlies, come with me, let’s have a chat," as the decision as to who was dumped from the villa was in their hands. Moving across the garden to discuss the decision, former bombshell Jessie Wynter says of fellow Australian Aaron: "He really is looking for genuine love."
Speaking about her connection with e-commerce owner Spencer, hairstylist Tanyel Revan says: "I can’t lie, as soon as I gave him the impression that I liked him, he’s been putting all his effort into me." Ring girl Olivia Hawkins, who was previously seen sharing a kiss with PE and science teacher Kai, adds: "Obviously I don’t want to send Kai home, I think you can all see the smile he’s put on my face the last two days."
In the end, it was Aaron and Spencer who were given the boot from the villa before a surprise recoupling. So there was plenty for Maya to chat about on Aftersun with her latest guests. However, the TV and radio star distracted in an eye-catching blue PVC outfit.
Maya showed off her incredible figure in a pair of lighter blue straight-leg trousers which she paired with an equally shiny blue top. She also added inches to her frame in silver strappy heels and kept her luscious locks down in tight curls. But while her oufits have been winning plaudits from fans, her latest attire caused a divide.

Meanwhile, those who tuned into the show think they spotted Maya 'fuming'. One of the guests on Aftersun was former islander Georgia Steele, who appeared in the fourth series in 2018. Maya asked the former bombshells which couples stood out for them amid the villa chaos. "I think my strongest would be Tanya [Manhenga] and ….. Zack," Georgia replied.
Quick to pick up on the blunder, Maya replied: "Tanya and Shaq [Muhammad], yeah?" But Georgia added: "I pronounce Zack because I always get it wrong. So I just say Zack but I know that’s obviously not his real name." Maya quickly moved on from the awkward name mishap, she said: "Yeah, yeah that's fine."
But viewers didn't let it go. @louminattii tweeted: "Sorry did Georgia just say she says Zack instead of Shaq because it's easier to say??? No please...??? I know Maya was giving the side eye #loveIsland #Aftersun." @yemisifabusiwa worte: "'I pronounce it Zach.' - Georgia 'It’s SHAQ' - Maya wasn’t having it boy #LoveIsland."
