Love Island fans were cringing as the islanders gathered around the fire pit for the latest recoupling. After receiving a text announcing it was boys' choice, things went pretty smoothly to begin with.
Though with no shock decisions, fans were cringing as last-to-pick Deji struggled to work out what to say. With Coco the last girl standing after her man Andrew reconciled with Tasha, Deji was left with no other option.

@darrenbizzle2 reasoned: "I'd like to couple up with this girl... cos I've got no choice."
@MayowaQuadri_ said: "Deji said we share similar interests and goals like they are recruitment agents… bro didn’t even wanna say 'she’s a good looking girl'".
On Reddit, ibloodylovecider sympathised: "Poor Deji, having to make this speech, really awks". Suspicious-Watch7713 said: "Deji giving that speech as though a gun was held to his head."
The long speeches have become a key part of the recoupling nights, but the last one standing can always be awkward. With just Coco left standing, Deji struggled over his words.
"I'd lie to couple up with this girl because altho we barely know each other and it's early days," he said. "I'm sure we share similar, er, interests and goals. Only time will reveal all, so I'm excited to see where the journey leads us."
The couple were the only ones who weren't featured having a follow-up conversation, which included new pairing Josh and Summer locking lips, and both Coco and Deji continued to stay in the background of the episode. With a vote-off at the end of the show, viewers were quick to decide who should go.
@_JulieJulez decided: "Deji and Coco should just volunteer to go home...forget the vote". While @lishavencatasen said: "That man does not want to be with coco #loveisland ".
As the islanders gathered around the firepit for the vote-off at the end of the show, various texts revealed Coco, Summer and Tasha as the bottom three girls. While Deji, Josh and Andrew were in the bottom three boys.
With the decision left in the hands of the public, will it be game over for Coco and Deji?
