ITV has extended tonight's episode of Love Island after last night's cliffhanger that left fans longing for more.
An explosive recoupling will be shown in Thursday's edition of the show as the contestants must decide who they want to pair up with following Casa Amor. To pack all the drama in, the episode has been extended to include an extra five minutes of footage.
The islanders were split up at the end of last week with the boys staying in the main villa and the girls in nearby Casa Amor. Both groups have been tempted by newcomers, but the islanders must now decide whether to stay faithful to their original partner or dump them for one of the bombshells.

Tonight's dramatic episode will see host Laura Whitmore return to the main villa for the highly-anticipated recoupling. In a teaser clip, she asks the new girls to stand up as the original boys sit tensely around the firepit.
"As you all know, tonight there will be a recoupling. Boys – each of you have a big decision to make," she tells the Islanders. “So I’m gonna ask you one by one if you want to stick with your partner who has been away in Casa Amor for the past few days, or whether you want to recouple with one of these gorgeous girls standing in front of you."
Once the boys have announced their intentions, they will one-by-one find out whether their previous partner has made the same decision. The girls will wak back into the main villa - either on their own, or with a new boy.
Islanders who chooses to stick with a partner who has decided to recouple with someone else will be left single.
Jay Younger, who is in a 'friendship couple' with Danica Taylor, will be the first boy to announce his decision of whether he will stick with her or if he would like to recouple with one of the new bombshells. During the Casa Amor challenge, Jay has gotten to know new girl Chyna Mills while Danica spent time with new boy Josh Samuel Le Grove.
Some of the other original islanders will have trickier decisions to make after spending many weeks getting to know their current partner. Original islanders Andrew Le Hope and Tasha Ghouri face difficult choices after they both spent time with and kissed new arrivals Coco Lodge and Billy Brown over the last few days apart.
Meanwhile, Paige Thorne is excited to return to the villa in hope of reuniting with her partner Jacques O’Neill, who has been seen kissing new girl Cheyanne Kerr. Dami Hope and Indiyah Polak will also have to decide whether they will stick with each other or recouple with the new arrivals they have been getting to know of Summer Botwe and Deji Adeniyi.
The Casa Amor portion of the show has become an annual tradition. But this year, bosses decided to scrap the Casa Amor postcard which gives the main villa a peek at what has been happening in the rival villa. Last year, Love Island received more than 5,000 complaints after a postcard was sent to the female contestants. It pictured the male contestants kissing and cuddling up to new girls.
One image showed Teddy Soares kissing another girl despite being partnered up with Faye Winter, but the card did not clarify the picture was taken during a game of dares and that Teddy had remained faithful during his time there. Ofcom received 4,330 complaints about the episode, with the majority claiming the letter “was misleading and caused unnecessary distress”.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
