ITV Loose Women's Ruth Langsford taken aback by Coleen Nolan's EasyJet jibe off air

Ruth Langsford was left reeling after a savage jibe from Coleen Nolan on today's Loose Women.

The 62-year-old fronted Tuesday's edition of the popular ITV programme. Ruth anchored a discussion between today's panel, which featured Coleen, Denise Welch and Janet Street Porter.

Ruth was in stitches as the show returned to air after an ad break. The anchor was wearing an orange outfit, which prompted a comment from Coleen during the break.

She said: "Sorry, do you know what she just said to me? Glad you could make it in from EasyJet today. Don't encourage her. I will let it go."

Coleen was in hysterics after Ruth lifted the lid on the conversation as she backtracked. She said: "You look lovely."

The episode was a Valentine's Day special as they interviewed Amanda Abbington and Jonathan Goodwin about their heartwarming relationship in another jam packed episode.

The two got engaged in Vienna 30 minutes after they first met and their relationship has stayed strong throughout difficult setbacks as Jonathan suffered lifechanging injuries after an accident.

Viewers following the show on Twitter swooned over their relationship and praised the inspirational couple.

Angela said: "Love Amanda and Jonathan xx"

Del added: "Just love the courage and love that #AmandaandJonathan have."

Sally commented: "Absolutely sobbing. Jjust beautiful, Amanda and Jonathan lovestory."
