ITV Loose Women's Frankie Bridge dubbed 'iconic' as she says she 'had to do it' and changes look

Frankie Bridge has been branded 'iconic' as she showed off her incredible makeover - albeit a temporary one - that's left fans 'screaming'. The Loose Women star is known for sporting shorter locks but these days tends to wear them in a split parting.

However, those who have followed the singer and TV star over the years will know Frankie for being a member of girl group The Saturdays, from 2007 until 2014 when the band went on a hiatus - alongside Vanessa White, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, and Una Healy.

And during her time in the band, Frankie was known for her pixie cut hairstyle with sweeping heavy fringe that was copied by many over the years. Taking to TikTok earlier this week, the mum-of-two could be seen in a video as The Saturday's song Higher in the background.

An array of old pictures showing fans recreating her iconic style then appeared on screen before Frankie appeared in front of the camera having returned to her former style. A message on the video read: "Is it time to bring the Frankie cut back?" while Frankie wrote in the TikTok caption: "Bringing it back…" with eyes and zany-face emojis.

The 34-year-old has since shared a fresh video to Instagram in which Frankie can be seen sporting the same hairstyle while donning a black strappy top tucked into a pair of denim jeans. She appeared in the video laongisde another clip posted by Comedy Drag entertainer Bailey J Mills.

They were seen replication Frankie's look while performing along, again, to The Saturdays track, Higher. The pair were then seen busting moves and singing along to the track. "Had to do it didn’t I @charlie_craggs @baileyjmills99 did a cracking job," Frankie penned alongside the video.

She then added: "You’re a better 'Frankie from the Saturdays' than me." Her former bandmate Rochelle was quick to respond, simply writing: "YES," alongside a crying laughing emoji. Jay Perry who appeared alongside both Frankie and Rochelle in S Club Juniors, replied: "This is iconic."

And fans were also loving it. @ccerielizabeth said: "This cheered me up this morning." @steviehockaday wrote: "I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG." @willowandfleuruk replied: "This is so funny!" @alisondaw79 posted: "It’s is hilarious and I love how you had fun with it @frankiebridge."

@_ajfb commented: "This is the best thing ever hahahaha." @mrsethcorbin typed: "Oh my god!! Absolute icon." @itsfranciswadsworth1 shared: "This is absolutely stunning, cracking job." @izzy__hard penned: "SCREAMING ‼️‼️‼️‼️" @giftsbysarah_ added: "Absolutely brilliant. Go Frankie."
