Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan has addressed why Stacey Solomon’s pregnancy was not mentioned on the show on Thursday, December 29 . Earlier in the week, Stacey announced that she’s expecting her fifth child - read more about that here.
Coleen took to social media following Thursday’s episode, to point out there had been many tweets from viewers who had picked up on the fact that the Loose Women had failed to congratulate fellow regular panellist Stacey on her happy news.
Coleen set the record straight after first sending a congratulations to her co-star. The 57-year-old singer and TV personality said: “Another pickle already?! The Cottage is going to need an extension at this rate! But seriously, massive congratulations @StaceySolomon & @realjoeswash. Couldn’t be happier for you both.”

In a separate tweet, Coleen added: “PS, to everyone who's tweeted in wondering why it wasn’t mentioned on today’s @loosewomen, it’s because the episodes between Christmas and New Years were pre-recorded. No big secret, the pre-records were announced in the Christmas lineup!” Stacey then replied to Coleen, simply writing: “Love you,” accompanied by two heart emojis.
Many viewers had already guessed the reason why it hadn't been mentioned. One person said: "Now, you know #LooseWomen's not live if they don't mention Stacey's baby news." A second added: "#ThisMorning now #LooseWomen both pre-recorded, else they would be straight on comments about Stacey Solomon being preggers again.. !!"
Stacey and partner Joe married earlier this year in a ceremony at their Pickle Cottage home. The couple met while Stacey was filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2010. They already have two children together - son Rex and daughter Rose. Stacey has two sons by previous relationships and Joe also has an older son with his ex-partner.
