Owen Warner asked his fans if he was 'losing his mind' after he made a discovery just over a week after leaving the Australian jungle. The actor made it to the final of this year's edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
He lasted the full length of time in camp, making it to the final three alongside Matt Hancock and Jill Scott. In the end it was between the Hollyoaks star and former Lioness taking the crown and it was Jill who emerged as Queen of the Jungle.
But Owen hasn't been short of attention and admiration following his exit with the I'm A Celeb 2022 runner-up admitting to being overwhelmed by the response.
The 23-year-old, who plays Romeo Nightingale in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, shared a sweet video message to social media last week in which he could be seen back at home after three weeks Down Under. "Hi guys, I hope you're alright, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry I haven't been active on here," he began the video.
"I just turned my phone on yesterday when I got back to England, mainly because I just stopped bawling my eyes out when I think of all the messages of support from you guys, my friends, my family, it's all just been a bit mad."
The soap star said he's been flooded with positive messages and blown away by fans kind reaction. "If I was to say thank you, it wouldn't scratch the surface for how grateful I am," he continued. It's also been overwhelming, when you're in there, you don't think about the people who are voting for you on the outside and there was going to be support for me, that didn't cross my mind."
He also shared how it feels like he's "woken up in a different world" before sharing how "grateful" he ws for the support. "It's a lot for my little head to get used to," Owen admitted before ending his video: "I love you all, I sound like Beyonce saying that."
But it seems like Owen has been in the jungle a little too long with his latest question. He shared a series of snaps of himself to Instagram taken by paps as he strolled with a can of water in his hand.
" Have I been living under a rock.. since when was canned water a thing? I think I’ve been in the jungle too long," Owen penned alongside the string of smiling images, which saw him donning a graphic tee and green cargo pants.
Fellow campmate Seann Walsh was quick to respond as he quipped: "You want to try canned crocodile feet!" But while some fans told him it had been 'a while' others were just as surprised.
@dakotagradyyx said: "CANNED WATER?? WTH." @tamzingrace.x commented: "CANNED WATER IS A THING WHAT." @livxgrace replied: "It’s been a thing for a good while ." @talesofaliteraryaddict echoed: "A while Owen." @ kj1hand added: " Had canned water in my office for a while. Somehow always disappointed when I crack open a can that it’s not sparkling despite the sound."
But it appears Owen needed more reassurance as he took to his Instagram Story with a poll. He asked: "Am I losing my mind," alongside a crying emoji with a 'yes' or a 'no' option.
