Alison Hammond was open-mouthed when Babatúndé Aleshe revealed how much weight he had lost while taking part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here. The comedian was the fifth campmate to exit the jungle earlier this week after receiving the fewest amount of public votes.
After leaving camp, Babatúndé told co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly: "I loved it in there but I needed my freedom… Living in it has been a whole different experience. Before when I used to watch this show I used to think to myself ‘Ah man, these guys are just playing, it’s all good in there’. And then you know spending two-and-a-bit weeks in there, it’s hardcore, it’s intense."
On Friday (November 25), Babatúndé appeared on This Morning to chat more about his time in the jungle with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary. The Celebrity Gogglebox star told the pair that getting used to the rice and beans diet and limited food was the hardest part of the experience.

He said: “It was so different to watching it on the TV. When they say rice and beans they really mean it. The food was definitely one of the toughest bits. You don’t get salt, you don’t get pepper." Alison then commented on Babatúndé's appearance, telling him he was 'tiny' before asking how much weight he had lost during his 19 days in the jungle.
After revealing he had lost a stone and a half, Alison was gobsmacked and replied: "They really starve you in there, don’t they?" But it appears he didn't get to enjoy his first big dinner out of camp - which he says was pizza, chips and calamari - because of his big sister. "My big sister ate it all the minute I turned my back," he joked to Alison and Dermot.
Babatunde also opened up about his ‘surprising’ friendship with Matt Hancock. There was evident shock in camp when the former health secretary arrived as a latecomer to the series alongside comedian Seann Walsh.
And after some hostility, the MP's fellow campmates appeared to soften towards him taking part in the show. "Who surprised you the most in the jungle?" Dermot asked to which Babatúndé responded instantly: "Matt Hancock surprised me. He definitely surprise me and the way we bonded after a while was definitely surprising."
"The way we bonded after a while was definitely surprising. We bonded over the fact that we are both fathers, obviously I am married and, you know, coming out of a really hard relationship. But we bonded over fatherhood, that was the thing that we often talked about."
Alison then said: "You are the only person who could turn to Matt Hancock and say 'you were grabbing booty, man' - I mean, who does that?" referring to his conversation with Matt about being caught on CCTV with his then aide and now girlfriend Gina Colangelo. Babatúndé admitted: "Listen, listen, I felt so bad." Alison replied him: "You were right, though. He was grabbing some serious booty."
Meanwhile, Chris Moyles, who was the next person to lose their spot in the ITV reality show on Thursday night (November 24), also shared how he'd lost 1.5 stone whilst in the jungle. In an interview on the radio show on Radio X this morning, Chris revealed how he and his former campmates stole treats without producers knowing and opened up about how his body changed during his jungle stint.
"We watched you gradually get skinnier and skinnier, but it felt like overnight you and Mike Tindall at the same time... suddenly like you've lost so much weight! It's fallen [off you] - I think it was after your trial," Toby Tarrant said during the breakfast show. Toby added: "We said you and Mike suddenly looked like you've lost a lot so come on, give us the numbers!"
Chris then revealed: "I've lost a stone and half." He added: "It’s the lowest weight I’ve been since schooI. I got weighed right at the beginning of isolation and then literally the first thing you do when you get out is see the medical officer and they check if you’re alright. So yeah I did and I lost weight. I’ve lost a stone-and-a-half."
