ITV I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here fans were delighted after Ant and Dec made an announcement at the end of the show on Monday, November 14. With just seconds left of the programme the hosts revealed that Matt Hancock would NOT be taking on the next Bushtucker Trial. The three-person challenge would be faced by Boy George, Chris Moyles and Babatunde Aleshe.
The viewer voted shake-up follows complaints from some viewers over Hancock taking on six Bushtucker Trials in a row. Following his latest ordeal, in which he faced snakes and critters in an underground pit, the serving MP said: "I thought of my children, I thought of Gina, I thought of everybody I loved" to get through his sixth I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! trial.
After securing seven out of a possible 11 stars, the former health secretary, 44, added: "It was definitely the calmest I've been in a trial. I thought of my children, I thought of Gina, I thought of everybody I loved. I just tried to be calm."

Hancock was referring to his former political aide Gina Coladangelo, with whom he broke social distancing restrictions last year, ultimately leading to his resignation from his role as health secretary, reported Birmingham Live. Leaked CCTV pictures published in The Sun in June 2021 showed Hancock kissing Ms Coladangelo, 45, in his departmental office while he was married to wife Martha Millar, with whom he has three children.
Taking to social media, fans of the show soon shared their opinions on the change. One person wrote: "Chris and Boy George finally getting what they deserve! Hope they get absolutely tortured, not walked to the bridge and no support i.e the Matt Hancock treatment and hope he digs at them like Chris does everytime!"
Another said: "And it couldn't be a better three. Glad Matt is getting a rest and looking forward to tomorrow's show. #ImACeleb." A third added: "Matt gets into the leadership role and doesn't get voted... sounds like his career as an MP too,"
Comments continued: "So Matt Hancock seems to have achieved what he set out to do and Boy George and Moylesy have made themselves targets now with their attitudes #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity."
