Fans have been reacting to the news that Olivia Attwood has had to quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after just 24 hours. The Love Island beauty was a hit with viewers as the ITV reality show returned to screens on Sunday night (November 6).
The launch episode saw a new batch of 10 celebrities enter the Australian jungle for the first time since 2019, as the past two years were shot at Gwrych Castle in North Wales due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. Love Island star Olivia, who lives in Manchester with her Blackburn Rovers footballer fiance Bradley Dack, was the second celeb seen arriving after DJ Chris Moyles.
After Olivia and Chris enjoyed a luxury meal the pair were tasked with jumping out of a helicopter at 10,000ft before entering the jungle. After completing the jump first, an emotional Olivia said: "Oh my god I’m crying, that’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever done, ever. That is incredible. Top 10 experience of my life. Just amazing."

But after just 24 hours Olivia was forced to withdraw from the show on medical grounds. A spokesperson said: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo medical checks.
They added: "Unfortunately, the medical team has advised that it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."
Fans are now wondering if Olivia, who starred in Love Island in 2017 and coupled-up with Chris Hughes, might be replaced. ITV has said they have 'nothing to add' to their earlier statement at this stage.
@yazcauser_tweeted: "I hope they will replace Olivia attwood in the jungle #ImACeleb."And @GasOnTour said: "Hope you fly in a new celebrity to replace Olivia Attwood. Such a shame to lose a campmate less than 24 hours in. However, that means there is plenty of time to find a replacement."
Names mentioned by viewers include former Coronation Street star Denise Welch, who tore into former health secretary Matt Hancock over the news that he was going into the jungle as a late arrival. Loose Women panellist Denise blasted the idea of Mr Hancock, who was Secretary of State for Health and Social Care at the centre of Britain's fight against COVID, as they discussed the matter on the ITV chat show.
"I am fuming," she said. "Which won't surprise anybody but I am fuming and I am disgusted." Denise continued: "I cannot find any humour in this appointment at all. As far as I am concerned we are still suffering the repercussions of what happened over the last few years."
And she was cheered and applauded by the audience as she told her co-stars: "I love the show, and I'm a huge viewer, but I'd go in there for nowt for ONE hour with Matt Hancock."
Other fans suggested fellow Love Island stars. @Tiger118118 said: "I think @MauraHiggins should replace @oliviajade_att on @imacelebrity." And @gunvalsonicon said: "Ekin Su should replace Olivia!!!"
@Ryanzmaraj suggested: "REPLACE OLIVIA ATTWOOD WITH A DRAG RACE UK QUEEN!!!!" and another name thrown into the bush hat was our recent Prime Minister. @MiddlehurstLee said: "Liz Truss to replace Olivia Attwood."
