Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid issued a tribute to her colleagues as she announced she would be taking a break from the show.
The 51-year-old broadcaster fronted today's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Ed Balls. The two covered the main topics of the day such as the UK heatwave and the Tory leadership election.
Susanna revealed that today's jam packed episode would be her "last day for the summer" as she takes a well-deserved holiday. She said: "Just wanted to say thank you to everybody, but I leave you in the capable hands of this wonderful team over the summer."

Good Morning Britain regularly rotate its lineup with presenters including Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh and Charlotte Hawkins likely to step in for Susanna over the coming weeks.
Susanna moved viewers on her final show as she interviewed Amelia Anisovych. The 7-year-old went viral when footage of her singing Let It Go while sheltering in a basement in Ukraine was widely shared online.
Susanna was emotional as she received a drawing from Amelia, before the youngster wowed audiences by singing the Frozen hit in three languages.
Diana said: "How very touching to see Amelia from Ukraine sing Frozen in 3 languages this morning"
Shaun added: "Stopped working to watch this Amelia segment! Ahh bless her".
