Martin Lewis has issued an urgent warning to married couples.
The consumer champion has become a vital voice in the cost-of-living crisis as he shares valuable tips on shows such as Good Morning Britain, This Morning and Money Show Live. The Money Saving Expert revealed last week that if you're married or in a civil partnership, you may be entitled to a £1,260 tax break.
This is called the marriage tax allowance and it is estimated that 2.1 million couples miss out on this each year. Martin urged people to act quickly as those who are eligible must apply before the new financial year starts tomorrow.
