Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway was in tears after Elton John's emotional tribute to Derek Draper.

The broadcaster attended the iconic musician's gig at the 02 Arena on Monday alongside her husband. Derek fell critically ill after contracting coronavirus in 2020 and Kate has helped care for the former political lobbyist throughout his ongoing health battle.

Kate was wowed when Elton spotted them in the crowd and dedicated his hit song, Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me, to them. The presenter has taken to Instagram to reveal she has found footage of the emotional moment as she shared the clip with her 1.1m followers.
