Things got a bit heated on Good Morning Britain as Adil Ray quizzed the deputy Prime Minister.
Tuesday's edition of the ITV news programme was again dominated by the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Now in its sixth day, Susanna Reid choked back tears as she spoke about children who have been injured in Ukraine.
She spoke through various pictures showing the horror unfolding in the country, including a doctor in Mariupol' who was photographed desperately trying to save the life of a little six-year-old girl.

"Ukraine's president says 16 Ukrainian children have been injured. Russia says it's not targeting civilians, the pictures tell a different story," Susanna added as Adil agreed with his co-host.
Later in the programme, Adil and Susanna were joined by Dominic Raab who they quizzed on Russia's attack on Ukraine.
Among the questions, Adil asked for Mr Raab's thoughts on Home Secretary Priti Patel refusing to waive tough visa rules for those fleeing Ukraine.
Currently, Ukrainians with immediate family in the UK are allowed to join them.
Ms Patel, who has come under fire for not doing more to help those in Ukraine to seek refuge in the UK, has said "further changes" would be announced in the "next few days".
"The principle is that dependants will be able to come here and that’s of course a fact..." Mr Raab began to say before Adil chipped in.
"So a mother – so therefore a mother – imagine if it was your mother, Dominic Raab," the GMB hosts asked him hypothetically.
"If your mother was in Ukraine right now, would you not want your mother to be repatriated, to be back here with you?"
"Well you're doing the usual thing which we always get on GMB which is not allowing me to answer the question," Mr Raab replied.
"The home secretary has said..." he attempted to continue before Adil interjected.
"Because we get the usual thing from you when you don’t answer the question the first time round," he hit back.
Mr Raab then sniped: "I’m trying to but if you interrupt me within seconds then I don’t get an opportunity and nor do your viewers to hear the answer and judge for themselves."
He added: "Am I allowed to proceed?" to which he was allowed to continue with his response.
"Ok, so the principles that the home secretary has set out are that dependants, and we are talking about up to 100,000, the precise criteria, the processes she’s going to be setting out in the days ahead so all of those answers will be provided.
"And I get why you’re asking the question, I just can’t answer every factual case and I can’t also speculate on the individual cases, but up to 100,000 [people]."
