ITV Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid announces she's taking a break

Susanna Reid announced on Wednesday, May 24, that Good Morning Britain viewers will not see her on the show next week. During a discussion with entertainment editor Richard Arnold and co-host Richard Madeley, she revealed she would be taking a break from the show over half-term.

As Richard spoke about his time interviewing The Little Mermaid remake stars Melissa McCarthy and Javier Bardem, he made a joke about Nick Cannon and his 12 children, reports the Mirror. He explained: "Nick Cannon of course just in case you didn't understand that reference has 12 children, which is quite the litter, you have got to get up quite early for that."

Susanna quipped: "Or go to bed very late," before the entertainment reporter hit back: "Oh look at you, someone is going on half-term. Yes. I can confirm I am off today, leaving it in your capable hands. No more interruptions," she confirmed.
