Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid opened up on her weight loss struggles this week.
The 51-year-old presenter made the admission during an interview with Joe Wickes on Tuesday's edition of the ITV news programme. Susanna praised the personal trainer for running his free online workout classes during the pandemic before she revealed she struggled to maintain weight throughout this period.
She said: "I found it really hard to shift those pounds. What is the problem when there are so many workout plans, so many nutrition plans, what is the reason for that?"

The Body Coach explained "people gained weight" during this period because people were less active. He added: "It is really a mental health crisis that we’ve got on our hands.
"You’ve got to try and inspire people to get moving and be active for their mental health. If you move your body, your mind will change and the transformation will come.”
The current guidelines recommend people should complete at least 150 minutes of aerobic activity per week to stay healthy. However, it is also important people do what's best for a person - as Susanna previously revealed in 2018 that she dropped an impressive one and a half stone after quitting the gym.
She said: "I don't do any exercise at all. I stopped going to the gym, I found it made me too hungry. I've levelled out, I lost a stone-and-a-half and that's enough, and I don't go to the gym." The broadcaster said curbing her appetite helped cut down on snacking.
She said: "[Hunger] can creep up without you noticing. I found waking up so early in the morning you're in a sort of energy deficit. All your body can think is have toast, have biscuits, have calories, and you can pile [weight] on really quickly."
Susanna also shared earlier this month that she has adopted an "excellent" weight loss advice from boxer Tyson Fury. She said: "Tyson did this remarkable thing where he lost a huge amount of weight and got himself back fighting fit. I said 'what was the key' and he said, 'Susanna you just have to give up milk in your coffee - you're drinking too much milk in your coffee.'
"So just to confirm - it's completely black this morning."
