Ranvir Singh has opened up on her battle with alopecia on Good Morning Britain.
The broadcaster was reading the morning headlines on today's edition of the ITV news programme. Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid anchored Monday's show, which was largely dominated by coverage of the dramatic incident from last night's Oscars ceremony when Will Smith attacked Chris Rock.
The Best Actor winner stormed the stage and slapped the comedian after he made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's hair loss. Jada, 50, revealed last year she shaved her head as she suffers from alopecia.

She said: "Now at this point, I can only laugh… y’all know I’ve been struggling with alopecia. Just all of a sudden, one day…it just showed up like that.
"Now, this is going to be a little bit more difficult for me to hide. So, I thought I’d just share it so y’all not asking any questions…
"Mama’s gonna have to take it down to the scalp so nobody thinks she got brain surgery or something. Me and this alopecia are going to be friends … period!"
Ranvir has previously opened up on how she has struggled with alopecia since she was eight years old and said she still has "patches" due to the condition. She said: "You can't tell now because I've got extensions in, but I've had alopecia since my dad died."
The former BBC North West Tonight presenter also condemned the attack and said she hopes her nine-year-old son doesn't see the footage of the shocking moment. She added: "I would tell my son that you've got to control your emotions."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITV Hub
