Emmerdale came under fire as viewers issued a complaint during tonight's show.
Monday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the fallout after Amelia Spencer found out she was pregnant. The character, played by Daisy Campbell, was rocked last month when she discovered she was expecting a child.
The baby's dad has been unveiled as Samson Dingle, but the character has remained unsupportive as he refused to acknowledge the reality of the situation. Amelia became close with Noah Dingle and regularly visited him when he was in prison.

However, she has since felt guilty after she lied to him about the true identity of her baby's dad. Noah insisted he was not concerned about this on tonight's show and said he wants to be there to support Amelia and her child.
Noah progressed their relationship further when he asked Amelia to be his girlfriend. Amelia agreed before she suggested they should elope to London and leave the fictional Yorkshire village.
However, viewers following the exchange on Twitter were distracted as they pointed out the age difference between the two characters.
Jordan said: "This show just gets worse , she is 15 and he is 18!!!
Owen commented: "So I take it we are meant to ignore the fact that 18 year old Noah has asked 15 year old Amelia to be his girlfriend?"
Dion posted : "You’re 18 Noah why are you hanging about with a 15 year old"
Cirah added: "Isn't Amelia like 15? So doesn't that make her and Noah together incredibly inappropriate?"
