ITV Emmerdale viewers issue warning during episode ahead of major show change

Emmerdale issued a reminder to fellow fans during tonight's episode.

Friday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the arrival of Charles Anderson's mum, Claudette. The newcomer has shaken up the Anderson household and claims she needs to stay due to a bad back.

Charles cancelled a date night with Manpreet Sharma in order to look after his mum. The character, played by Rebecca Sarker, is concerned about Claudette and worried she could be set to disrupt her relationship with Charles.

Viewers following the show on Twitter were equally concerned and suggested something else was at play.

Michelle said: "Charles Mum is lying about her back to ruin things for Manpreet and Charles. Horrible woman"

Wini added: "Is she faking back problems"

Ryan commented: "Every time Claudette mentions Manpreet - she goes into back pain. She's clearly putting it on"

During the show, fans issued a reminder that things are about to change on Emmerdale next week. The visits to the Dales usually airs each weekday at 7.30pm.

However, fans warned next week's episodes will arrive at the earlier time of 7pm amid an ITV schedule shake up.

Gavin posted: "Don't forget next week #Emmerdale is 7pm #Corrie 7.30pm All week."

Ryan said: "That's it for now on all things #Emmerdale!!!!! See you all on Monday at 19:00pm when the drama continues"
