Emmerdale came under fire from fans after a character's "personality change" on tonight's show.
Friday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore Amelia Spencer's pregnancy storyline. The character, played by Daisy Campbell, was rocked last month when she discovered she was expecting a child.
Fans of the show were shocked when a surprising twist unmasked Samson Dingle as the father. In tonight's edition of the show, Amelia was comforted by her family who said they would support her through the pregnancy.

However, the baby's dad was much less supportive as he refused to acknowledge the reality of the situation. Amelia confronted Samson later in the episode and the character demanded she have an abortion.
Amelia revealed she is no longer able to have an abortion and had decided to raise the child. Viewers following the show on Twitter were horrified by Samson's personality change as the character has never previously shown such aggressive traits.
Emma said: "Why did they have to ruin such a lovely character like Samson, seriously."
Conor added: "And yet another character gets a personality transplant in #Emmerdale Samson used to be a nice wee fella"
Marilyn commented : "Samson has had a personality transplant , not keen."
