Fans of Emmerdale will be disappointed to learn the ITV soap has been cancelled tonight.
The Yorkshire-based soap usually airs at 7.30pm on weeknights. But tonight it is being replaced by it's rival soap - Coronation Street.
Corrie will be on for an hour from 7pm, following the news. Straight after that a new episode of The Voice Kids will air, leaving no room for Emmerdale.

But fans won't have to wait too long to get their fix as Emmerdale returns tomorrow night, Thursday December 29, with another hour-long episode at 7pm. The Dingles drama will continue as Cain is still locked up for a crime he did not commit and his estranged brother has made a return to the village.
In earlier episodes, Cain admitted to his partner Moira Barton he had a long-lost brother who had visited him in prison. He explained Caleb had written him letters in prison when he found out their mother Faith Dingle had died.
